Chris Lees from the Ticketing Team has created this handy guide

Simple rapid reprice guide

Hold the required flights in the PNR. The classes do not have to match the original as you can use rapid reprice to best buy, which will instruct you which classes to book.

Once held do #RR to initiate RR

The Rapid reprice Exchange screen is displayed. Price as best buy in same cabin is automatically ticked. You can also price as booked by ticking this option if your happy with the class selected.

The “exclude economy unbundled fares” once ticket will stop hand baggage only fares being returned, left unticked this will supply the cheapest option and may incorrectly change a bag fare to a no bag fare BE CAREFULL with this.

The ticket number is displayed and ticked. If there are multiple tickets, simply de select the tickets you are not quoting.

All the flights in the itinerary, including those you have temporarily held are displayed and ticked. Deselect the flights that are no longer required.

The change fee method is defaulted to EMD if the carrier is recognized as subscribed to emd for change fee’s. This is also a drop down, enabling you to change to select “collect as tax”, this will then open another box adjacent to the emd box and you will need to enter a tax code into the box. You can use XP for quoting purposes only!

The public/private fares box is a dropdown and can be changed to quote for different fare types.

IN the pseudo city box, add the PCC that the ticket has been issued in.

The account box can be used to quote also for different fare types IE net fares and route deals.

This is now “price as booked”. All other fields are unchanged.

Continue.

A price is returned. To check the details, click on “Detail”

This quote is incorrect! The baggage old is 1 piece and the baggage new is 0 pc. Click cancel and start over. This time tick “exclude economy unbundled fares”

A new quote is returned.

Check the details and you will see they now have a bag on the new quote.

This is now correct and the adc is £116.00 and change fee £71.00. Please remember to add the standard re issue mark up to your quote £25.00 economy and £50.00 for premium/business/first.

Put a note in the booking – quoted via rapid reprice ADC 116.00/141.00 gross and change fee £71.00 – Please re issue (Then add your name and branch location and any further instruction to the ticketing team) and send the booking to 52P6 Q52 for the re-issue to be processed.

Ignore all residual taxes

Further important information to be included and considered through the quoting process. You will notice that on occasions a box will appear on the Rapid reprice results screen. This will be named “ignore all residual taxes” and will be adjacent to the “Modify taxes” box.

You can see the box is currently unticked and the total add-collect (top left) is £1383.70.

The old taxes on the left are £418.41 and the new £416.11, therefor this will process a small tax refund. Clarity DO NOT refund these residual taxes. You must tick the ignore residual taxes box, and therefor suppressing the tax refund.

The total additional collection (top left) is now £1386.00, click on detail

The above quote has been selected as “best buy in the same cabin” and has had the residual taxes suppressed. The above is telling us to rebook sectors 01H/02H (Sectors 1 and 2 in H class). You can then continue with this and make the changes /send to the ticketing team for re issue etc.
